EIGHT MONTHS...And Growing

We have a ton to update on our blog...too much in fact. So we are just gonna skip ahead a few months and then maybe go back and add stuff later. Last month I tried out Papa's new camera at his house and took some 8 month pictures of Capri and got a few good ones of all of us. They still have a little editing to do but this is good enough! if you notice, Capri liked to stand up all the time. Now, she is 9 months and we are a walking machine! She can't sit still- she crawls, walks, squats, and is trying to figure out how to climb up things. She is so anxious to walk better and see everything that she tries to run and just falls down, its pretty funny.

We are getting so big here in AZ!!!

Thanks to Leslie and Dallin we have super cute pictures of Capri when she was just four months! Here is a quick update... Capri is now five and a half months! She rolls and moves around constantly. She is trying very hard to scoot and crawl to her toys! She smiles all the time and has the cutest laugh. In fact when she just looks at other kids she starts to laugh and make excited noises. Her favorite things are talking, swimming, music, and being with her dad! It seems like everyday she is learning something new. We are having so much fun being parents.

BABY BLESSING!!!

The day came way to fast, but yes on sunday Capri was blessed! It was such a spiritual experience and so amazing to watch Dallin bless her! We were glad so many family members could be there to support us! Grandma Jackie flew in from Utah and stayed for the weekend. Aimee, Jason and the kids pulled in Sat night and left Sun night! What a quick trip but so fun at the same time! It was fun to have both sets of parents there and most of the Blair family! We missed all of you who couldn't make it, but we know life is busy and gets crazy! Here are some pictures of the blessing day!

A NEW ADDITION!!!

Monday January 24th at 5:00 a.m. Dallin and I packed up the car and headed to the hospital, so they could induce me! We had no idea what it was going to entail. About 6:00 a.m. I was hooked up to the IV and feeling good! Then to our surprise around 7:30 a.m. Dr.Huish came in and decided to break my water! I was dilated a three but hoping it would speed up the process! I started feeling the contractions and they stayed consistent at about two minutes apart! Around 12:00 p.m. I was dilated a four and they decided to put the epidural in my back! My left side of my body was more numb than the right side of my body the entire day! It's such a crazy feeling! From 12-6 p.m. I stayed dilated at a four! I was starting to get a little impatient when it all started to speed up by 10:30 p.m. I was dilated at a ten and ready to push! They were worried about the fever I started to get since it had been 12 hours since my water had broken. We started pushing around 11:00 p.m. ! I was lucky to have Dallin, my Mom, Jerolyn, and Kasey ( my cousin as my nurse) in the room to help my through the delivery. After about an hour and a half of pushing Dr. Huish gave us the choice to either keep pushing or to use the vacuum. Apparently her head was posterior and she was having a hard time crowning. We decided to use the vacuum. I was so physically tired. After about another half an hour of pushing ( total of 2 hours) with the vacuum she was finally out!

CAPRI ALYSE GREENBERG was born on Tuesday Jan. 25th at 12:49 a.m after about 20 hours of labor. She weighed 8 lbs 5 ounces, was 21 inches, and was beautiful!!!! We love having her in our home and glad she is finally here!. Now she is two weeks old and looks different each day!

Tara was my nurse from 7:00 a.m. to 7 p.m. We got to know her very well and we had a lot in common. She had lived in New Mexico, Arizona, Destin, Flordia( Dallin's Mission), and her husband was from Colorado!
