So the last few months we have been preparing for this Baltimore adventure and we are finally here! We are working for a great company selling security systems and taking advantage of every opportunity we have off to see the sites on the east coast. We packed up our little house, put everything in storage, packed up the little blue car, and started the 3 day trek across the country! It is a different world out here but we like it a lot. Everything is super old and there is so much green everywhere you go.
On the way out here we made some necessary pit stops...
The big one was in St. Louis, where I have always wanted to visit to see the big arch and Cardinals Stadium. The arch is right on the side of the Mississippi river and is pretty dern huge. We got there right when they closed it so we couldn't take the ride up through it but here are some nice self portraits...
We bummed some tickets outside of the stadium and since there were a bunch of open seats we went to the home run zone... However, some dark thunder clouds came rolling over in the second inning causing the game to be cancelled due to insane rain! But we got the pics and had a Cardinal dog and that was good enough for us. We ran to our car and got back on the road making it through Ohio over night in the rain.
